Before submitting your suggestion, first make sure it meets the AdventureToken checklist:
1 – Interesting, rewarding, and enjoyable
The goal for AdventureTokens is to take adventurers to interesting places that offer a rewarding and enjoyable experience. If you have an idea for an AdentureToken but you are not quite sure, the following question can be helpful: “will a fellow adventurer have an enjoyable experience and think it is worthwhile spending the time to find your AdventureToken?”
2 – Vehicle accessible
Because Adventure Guide is all about exploring by vehicle, AdventureTokens should ideally be vehicle accessible. In some cases a very short walk to reach an epic location is ok, however try to avoid placing AdventureTokens that force riders to walk long distances dressed in riding gear, and leave their bikes/luggage unattended for long periods of time.
3 – Publicly accessible
AdventureTokens need to be on land that can be freely accessed by the public, without needing to seek access permission from landowners.
4 – Spaced well
AdventureTokens shouldn’t be placed too close to existing AdventureTokens. AdventureTokens should ideally be spread out with reasonable travel time between each one.
5 – AdventureToken categories
Your AdventureToken should fit into one of these categories:
Scenic AdventureTokens: placed at locations with outstanding scenic value. This could be a high-altitude lookout, an epic mountain range, a picturesque lake, or similar.
Interest AdventureTokens: placed at locations where there is something really interesting. This could be anything from strange rock formations, bizarre architecture, impressive landmarks, or similar.
Historic AdventureTokens: placed at locations of interesting historic significance. This could be anything from abandoned historic towns, gold mining relics, old bridges, or similar.
Challenge AdventureTokens: placed for the seriously adventurous adventurer! These are typically placed along (or at the end) of challenging Grade 4 or Grade 5 tracks. Challenge AdventureTokens are for adventurers that get a kick out of challenging themselves.
6 – Good quality photo
AdventureTokens need a good quality photo. The photo should be of just the AdventureToken eg not have your vehicle in it. You can add a photo with your vehicle in it when you claim the AdventureToken.
