Ohau C Substation to Haldon Campground
This riverbed 4X4 track links the Ohau C Substation up with Haldon Camping Reserve and Haldon Boat Harbour by crossing the Tekapo River. At times of normal flow this is a safe crossing with water levels around knee deep and fairly slow currents.
Please note that the Tekapo River is subject to flooding caused by the releasing of excess dam water. This only happens when the lake hits limit levels so is not a very common occurrence.
