Te Akatarawa Road

A nice stretch of tarmac winding alongside Lake Benmore, a good option to link up with Black Forest Road. The photos below do not do it justice.

1.2km north of Aviemore Dam there is a walking track up Deep Creek, an interesting place that's worth a look
