Lawrence Bivvy
A dinky wee bivvy set in an absolutely magic spot up near the headwaters of the Lawrence Valley. It is located on a plateau that you cannot access by vehicle however it is only 400 metres away from the riverbed where you can park your vehicle and walk in (depending on what state the riverbed is in). Fantastic mountain views.
Important note: The current DOC reference for this bivvy is off by 180 metres (BW18, E1431565, N5198396) the correct eastings and northings are BW18 E1431393 N5198298. The downloadable GPS file below has the correct location.
