Terrain: Gravel with some rough sections one small ford that can become impassable at times of high water

Timeframe: Actual riding time one way approximately 20 to 35 minutes depending on riding style

GPS note: Cape Terrace Road may technically end once it reaches Ogilvies Road (starting from Kumara Inchbonnie Road) however the extension from Ogilvies Road to Maori Creek Road is included in the GPS files anyway

Weather: The weather can turn very quickly in this area. Both night time and daytime temperatures can plummet without warning, make sure you are well prepared with the correct gear. Unscheduled rain can quickly appear and come down with force, rivers can then rise to impassable levels within minutes
